The purpose of the 16-19 Bursary Fund is to provide financial help to students who are facing financial barriers to participate fully in their studies. Biddulph High School is able to make Bursary Fund allocations based on the needs of individual students, taking into account their individual circumstances. There are two criteria available to entitle students to payment during term time only:
- Criteria 1: Available to any students who are in receipt of Universal Credit in their name, a care leaver, in care or a disabled student in receipt of both Employment Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance – £800 per year for the academic year 2024-25. September – June £80 per month.
- Criteria 2: Available to any students who are not eligible for Criteria 1 and are in receipt of free school meals – £10 per week for the academic year 2023-25.
If your child is eligible for Bursary, paperwork can be collected from the BH6 Office or alternatively, downloaded using the links below and then returned to the Finance Office.
