The purpose of the 16-19 Bursary Fund is to provide financial help to students who are facing financial barriers to participate fully in their studies. Biddulph High School is able to make Bursary Fund allocations based on the needs of individual students, taking into account their individual circumstances. There are two criteria available to entitle students to payment during term time only:
- Criteria 1: Available to any students who are in receipt of Universal Credit in their name, a care leaver, in care or a disabled student in receipt of both Employment Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance – £800 per year for the academic year 2020-21. September – June £80 per month.
- Criteria 2: Available to any students who are not eligible for Criteria 1 and are in receipt of free school meals – £10 per week for the academic year 2020-21.
If your child is eligible for Bursary, they can either collect the necessary paperwork on Enrolment Day on 20 August or from the Sixth Form Office at the start of September, alternatively, you can download the documents below and return them to the Finance Office at the start of September.
